QUESTIONS and ANSWERS

Steels I Use
I use  high carbon steels. I work mostly with 5160, 52100,  1084, 1095 and W2.  I produce my own Damascus using 1080/15N20. I produce my own SanMai  using 1084/410 Stainless Steel

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Wash with soap and water. DRY WELL.

I recommend using good lubricating oil when in storage.

I  recommend  using Birchwood Casey RIG, 

Birchwood Casey Barricade,

Safariland BREAKFREE CLP

For my chef knives I recommend mineral oil.
