I have been interested in knives for years. I started out with an interest in primitive technology, making my own bows and arrows with flint points. I have made many flint arrow heads, spear points, and blades.
By using many knives, I’ve learned the knife is one of the most important tools. I began crafting forged knives for my specific needs in 2009. Some of my early knives were not very pretty, they were basic and functional. As I got better, the performance improved, as well as the looks. The early knives were made with no electricity and with basic hand tools. Wanting to improve I attended the American Bladesmith School in Washington, Arkansas under the instruction of Jim Walker MS and Burt Foster MS.
In June of 2016 I earned my Master Smith Rating with the American Bladesmith Society.
Each of my custom knives is made by me in my shop in Estancia, New Mexico. I create my own Damascus and San Mai, and use presentation grade handle materials, chosen by me, from the best suppliers in the industry.
My forged knives stay with classic styles and concentrate on superior performance.
